Expected Wins — Schedule Luck
Expected wins = sum of each completed week's all-play win%. Compared against actual wins (+0.5 per tie). A gap is a schedule-luck signal, not a verdict on skill.

Power Rankings Methodology
Power Rankings on the Newsroom are ranked by season all-play win percentage — for every completed week, each team's score is compared against all 11 opponents, not just the one they were scheduled against. Total points scored is the tiebreaker. This rewards teams that score well every week, not just teams that got a favorable schedule. AI-assisted commentary can explain why a team moved, but it never determines the order — the math does.

Bench Regret — Hindsight Optimal Lineup
Bench Regret requires week-by-week roster and starting-lineup data from ESPN (who was started vs. benched at each position). That import isn't connected yet, so this section is intentionally left blank rather than guessing. Once roster sync is added, this will show each team's highest-scoring legal lineup from players actually on their roster that week — never a hypothetical waiver add, and no player counted twice.
